Media Release - Magician Manik Jones – Wednesday 11 July
 Over 75 Children and adults from the local area were mesmerized by Magician Manik Jones at Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre in a special free school holiday last week.
Fire, spinning plates, balloons and disappearing objects kept the audience members glued to their seats.
Audence participation was often required and some young audience members almost stole the show as they stepped on stage to help Manik perform his tricks.
A lucky door prize of a magic set was won by a budding apprentice magician.
 The performance was donated by the School of Transmogrification (SOT) who help transform children of all ages through juggling, mime, movement, music, acting and games.

Media Release - Winter Magic Dance Event
 Dance event for clients with an intellectual disability - Friday 13 July 2007
Clients with an intellectual disability, their carers, volunteers and staff with Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre were treated to a winter magic spectacular on Friday night. Due to the success of previous discos the dance event was held at Leichhardt Town Hall so we could give this opportunity to as many participants as possible.
DJ Adam kept the tunes and flouro bands coming as the clients and their carers danced up a storm and won prizes from TV1. Magician Manik Jones gave a wonderful performance and was assisted by participants Emma and Sophie that had the crowd laughing at their antics. Leichhardt Council, Balmain Tigers, TV1, Coca Cola Amatil and Johnny Visanos all contributed and sponsored to make this a very unique community event.
 The event would not have been orchestrated without the support of our wonderful volunteers who enabled our clients access music in a group situation and participate in live entertainment. It was very rewarding to all involved to bring this opportunity to participants to party and express themeselves through music.
